THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT IN PUBLIC SERVICE (ANALYSIS OF QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH)

Summary 

The current low about public service was signed in 2015 and fully operational since 2017. The latest wave of public service reform focused on the career and professional development of public servants.

As part of the research on the career development process, was held public servant’s quantitative research, in period of January-April in 2020, These research aim was to clarify the attitude of public servants themselves. In the context of the pandemic in the country, the research process was no less interesting than the results of the study. To ensure the safety of the respondents and the interviewer, the research was conducted remotely, via electronic questionnaires.

The results of the research showed what attitude the public servants themselves have towards the ongoing processes in the public service. Revealed the position of the public servants has about the role of public service human resource management in their career development process. It also highlighted which areas respondents think are better for career development and why they prefer to work in public service.
